They wear many hats and contribute to a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth running of the restaurant and a positive experience for customers. Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service:
    • Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
    • Take orders accurately, answer questions about the menu, and offer recommendations.
    • Serve food and beverages efficiently and attentively.
    • Address customer concerns promptly and professionally.
    • Maintain a clean and inviting dining area by clearing tables, refilling condiments, and bussing trays.
  • Food Preparation and Service: (Depending on the restaurant)
    • Assist with food preparation tasks like stocking ingredients, assembling dishes, or operating kitchen equipment (following safety protocols).
    • Package takeout orders ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Restaurant Operations:
    • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all areas of the restaurant, including dining areas, restrooms, and food prep stations (following company protocols).
    • Replenish supplies and keep service areas organized.
    • Set up and break down dining areas for service.
    • Learn and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Teamwork:
    • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve shared goals and ensure smooth operation.
    • Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment.
